Trimble’s Geospatial Technology Partner Program explicitly supports partners building solutions through GNSS, total-station, scanning, cloud, API and SDK access. The lesson for RAUZ is clear: useful partnerships can begin at the data and integration layer rather than with territorial representation.

RAUZ applies the same principle more narrowly to monitoring intelligence: partner where capabilities fit together without confusing who is responsible for each part.

RAUZ takes a more selective approach: local knowledge can help, but core remote analytical delivery should not depend on appointing a local channel partner in every market.

Clear Partnership Boundaries

Good collaboration starts by making responsibility visible.

Monitoring projects can involve engineering liability, sensitive data, third-party intellectual property and contractual interfaces. RAUZ therefore treats role definition as part of the technical work, not as an administrative detail added later.

Does RAUZ offer automatic territorial exclusivity?
No. Geographic exclusivity should never be assumed from a discussion, pilot or project collaboration. Any exclusivity would require a separate commercial assessment and written agreement defining territory, scope, performance obligations, duration and termination.
Can a partner use the RAUZ name or logo?
Not automatically. Public representation, logo use, case-study publication and statements such as “RAUZ partner” should require written permission and an agreed description of the relationship.
Does RAUZ require the partner to perform field work?
Not as a general rule. RAUZ can work with a client’s existing field team or monitoring contractor. Field capability may be useful for a particular pilot, but it is not intended to be a mandatory dependency of the RAUZ business model.

Pilot to Scale

Prove one useful thing before trying to build an ecosystem.

RAUZ prefers technically bounded pilots over vague memoranda of understanding. A pilot should be small enough to evaluate but real enough to expose data, workflow and responsibility issues.

1. Problem Define one engineering or monitoring question.
2. Data Confirm what information exists and who owns it.
3. Pilot Run a limited workflow with agreed success criteria.
4. Review Evaluate technical value, limitations and commercial fit.
5. Scale Only then discuss recurring or portfolio-level integration.
A useful pilot should leave both parties with an answer even if the result is “do not scale this approach.” RAUZ values technical evidence over partnership announcements.

FAQs

Before proposing a partnership.

Is RAUZ looking for local installation partners in every country?
No. RAUZ’s core model is remote-first monitoring intelligence. A project can use its existing field contractor, monitoring provider or site team. RAUZ may collaborate with field specialists where a specific project needs it, but the company is not building its strategy around mandatory country-by-country installation partnerships.
Can a sensor or software company integrate with RAUZ?
Potentially. A useful discussion should identify what data is available, how it can be accessed, what metadata is required, what engineering question the integration supports and what responsibilities remain with each system provider.
Can an InSAR provider work with RAUZ?
Yes, where the collaboration has a defined technical purpose. RAUZ’s interest is primarily in geotechnical interpretation, correlation with project context and, where appropriate, integration with ground monitoring rather than presenting itself as a satellite operator.
Does RAUZ appoint exclusive distributors or agents?
Not by default. A partnership discussion, pilot or referral does not create exclusive distribution rights. Any agency, reseller or territorial arrangement would need a separate written commercial agreement with defined performance and representation rules.
Can a university propose a research collaboration?
Yes. The proposal should identify the research question, expected datasets, publication intention, IP position, confidentiality requirements and whether project-derived information would be involved.
Will RAUZ publish our logo or joint project immediately?
No. Publicity should follow written agreement. RAUZ does not treat a meeting, NDA, pilot discussion or uncompleted proposal as a public partnership, and it does not publish another organisation’s project as its own.
Where should a normal project enquiry go instead?
