Is it changing faster?

Magnitude alone can be misleading. Rate of change and the timing of acceleration may be just as important.

Is the movement real?

Does the trend agree with neighbouring instruments, survey observations, construction sequence and expected mechanisms?

Does it matter?

What is the engineering significance of the observed behaviour relative to the asset, works and monitoring criteria?

What is missing?

Is the uncertainty caused by incomplete data, an unsuitable baseline, instrument configuration or insufficient spatial coverage?

Working Model

Remote-first does not mean context-free.

RAUZ can work with client-owned systems and data generated by third-party monitoring teams, but reliable interpretation still depends on knowing how the data was produced and what was happening on the project.

Use existing monitoring systems

RAUZ’s analytical role does not require the client to replace instruments, monitoring contractors or data sources simply to begin a review.

State limitations clearly

If the available information is insufficient to support a conclusion, the limitation should be stated rather than hidden behind a dashboard or automated output.

Before you send a project enquiry.

Do I need to use RAUZ instruments before RAUZ can review my data?
No. RAUZ is intended to work with monitoring information from client-owned systems and third-party monitoring providers. The practical requirement is access to enough reliable data, metadata and project context to support the agreed review.
Can I send only a monitoring report?
Yes, a report can be a useful starting point. For deeper diagnostics, RAUZ may also request underlying time-series data, baseline information, trigger criteria, relevant drawings, construction sequence or instrument details.
Can RAUZ review a trigger exceedance or sudden instrument movement?
Potentially. The review may consider data continuity, baseline, rate of change, neighbouring instruments, construction activity, groundwater behaviour, survey information and plausible engineering mechanisms. The required evidence depends on the case.
Can RAUZ work on projects outside Georgia?
Yes. Rauz Caucasus LLC is based in Tbilisi, while the RAUZ operating model is designed for international, remote-first technical delivery. Any project-specific jurisdictional, contractual or professional-registration requirements should be defined as part of the scope.
Can RAUZ provide InSAR interpretation without field instrumentation?
Some screening or historical ground-motion assessments may begin with satellite-derived information alone. Whether additional ground instrumentation, survey or site investigation is needed depends on the asset, movement mechanism, spatial coverage, data quality and decision being supported.
How should confidential project information be sent?
Start with a high-level description by email or telephone. If detailed information is commercially sensitive, the parties can first agree the appropriate confidentiality and transfer arrangements before project files are exchanged.
